Creativity as Meditation
Updated: Oct 26, 2020
Having trouble sitting in silence with your eyes closed daily? Try a different form of concentration meditation

What's your favorite creative outlet?
Many times people, including myself, struggle with traditional form of meditation. We also tend to focus so much on work and relationships that as we get older we minimize the time we allow for creative outlets and passions. Many times when we are doing what we love, time ceases to exist, we are so focused on what we are doing that everything else, including the chatter of the mind, drops away. Try taking 20 minutes daily to draw, sing, dance, write, or whatever your creative outlet is and intention this 20 minutes to be your daily mediation.
